Motherboard breakage happens mainly either because you hit/ drop your console or overheating (due to collecting dust) In some other extreme cases if your console has been exposed to liquid, e.g. coffee, tea, if this happens we recommend you immediately turn your console and do not turn it on again. Contact us for free advice and we will diagnose the damage and send you a report back. It is not the water that touches any part of the console that damages it, the damage is caused by electricity disturbed by the water. When the console is completely disassembled and dried, we can check for damage and let you know if it has survived or not, what components have been damaged and what would be the cost of the repair.
